Hi! Welcome to OpSurg

We are a group of 4th year medical students aiming to pursue careers in surgery.

The reason we started OpSurg was after our own experiences at University. Going into medical school, we knew that we wanted to pursue careers in surgery but we had no idea what it entailed and HOW THE HELL we were meant to get there. After talking to a few of our school friends, we realised this was a very common trend between students who came from state schools before university.

Because of that, It became our aim to help students who were in a similar situation to what we were in to get a clear idea of how to pursue a career in surgery. It is our aim to encourage as many of you as possible to follow the same journey we are on.

And hence, Operation Surgery (OpSurg) was born!
